Jio has begun rolling out 100 GB of free cloud storage to all of its subscribers as part of the Jio AI Cloud Welcome offer, which was first announced at Reliance's 47th annual general meeting (AGM). Jio prepaid and postpaid customers can now access free 100 GB of cloud storage and a slew of AI capabilities via the JioCloud app, which is available for Android and iOS devices as well as on the web.
JioCloud, which formerly offered 5 GB of cloud storage, has been expanded to 100 GB at no additional cost as a welcome offer. This suggests that in the future, consumers may have to pay a membership charge to continue using JioCloud services. This is a significant step by Reliance, making JioCloud a superior online content storage platform than Google Drive, which offers 15 GB of free cloud storage, Apple iCloud, which offers 5 GB of free cloud storage, and Microsoft OneDrive, which offers 5 GB of free cloud storage per account.
