The Andhra Pradesh state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, is currently meeting at the Secretariat to address key decisions affecting ongoing development projects in Amaravati. The agenda includes deliberations on the outcomes of the Capital Region Development Authority's (CRDA) 42nd and 43rd sessions, with substantial investment choices totalling Rs. 24,276 crore scheduled for approval.

During the meeting, the cabinet is expected to grant administrative clearances required to advance several projects. A proposal to alter the Municipalities Act of 1965 is also under consideration, with the goal of streamlining urban governance. In addition, the cabinet would consider allocating an additional 10 acres of land to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Mangalagiri, as part of a strategic effort to improve the region's healthcare infrastructure.
