Hours before the new Telangana Talli statue was inaugurated, the Telangana government issued a Government Order (GO) forbidding any disrespect to the picture. "Insulting, destroying, burning, or showing disrespect for Telangana Talli's image openly, online, or on social media is a crime," states the GO, as political parties and citizens disagree about the statue of a matronly figure.
