Hyderabad: In an effort to alleviate everyday traffic congestion near the Nanakramguda rotary and improve connectivity, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has revealed intentions to demolish a portion of the Kokapet bicycle track. This decision follows a thorough traffic study undertaken by the Cyberabad Traffic Police, in partnership with field personnel and drones, which identified important traffic bottlenecks in the region. Joel Davis, Cyberabad Traffic DCP, noted that traffic from Gachibowli to My Home and Narsingi converges at the HGCL headquarters, resulting in substantial daily traffic congestion. According to the traffic department's studies, nearly 50% of the traffic congestion in the area occurs near HGCL, requiring commuters to use a roundabout to reach Narsingi. To resolve this situation, a choice was reached.
